Famous People who were Masons.

First of all let me say that the list is probably not complete.  Second just because you were famous and a Mason isn’t important.  What is important  then is how you lived your life.

So you can find the list here:

The second person on the list is Roy Acuff.  I met him when he was at General Grand Chapter, Royal Arch Masons.  He was there to receive an award.  He was nervous.  He made the remark that he had never been in a room with so many distinguished  people in his life.  (They had been introducing the Right Excellents,   and Most Excellents and Most Puissants all morning and afternoon.)   I told him later that there were probably only three really distinguished  people in the room and he was one of them.  I don’t know if he believed me or not but he was.
