Another year has rushed by for Harding Lodge and the election of officers for 2010 has yielded a great looking group of offi-cers. I hope they have as much fun and success as we have had the past two years while I resided in the East. I would like to thank my officers for all of the hard work and dedication that they gave our Lodge this past year, it is greatly appreciated. We have several new members in the Lodge and some have become regular faces at our meetings. It's nice to see that mem-bership and participation is growing.
As my second year as Master of the Lodge comes to a close I hope to continue to help Harding Lodge with degree work and whatever else they may need assistance with. As most of you already know I'm also Grand Chaplain for the Grand Lodge of Iowa this year and have been very busy with that position as well. My Grand Lodge Reception will be March 13th at the Ma-sonic Temple here in Mason City. I will be sending out official invitations but wanted to give you a heads up so you can be sure to mark it on your calendar. Our Grand Master Craig Hummel has agreed to pre-sent John McCallum with his 50 year mem-bership pin and certificate that day as well, congratulations John.
If you have not been to lodge for awhile I'd like to invite you to come and see all the new faces and greet the new Lodge offi-cers at their public installation on January 9th. Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season.

I thank you for your vote of confidence in electing me as your Master for next year and hope to live up to your expectations with your help. There will be some new things we will do this year that I hope are enjoyable to all. We will have some Masonic movie nights where we will show a film on a Masonic topic. At the stated meetings, we will be taking some of the meeting time for “Masonic Trivia” and will form teams for this event that will run the course of the year. Winners of this will be announced at the December stated communication and prizes awarded.
