Lodge News:
Wow, the month of Jan. has come and gone so quickly, seems like only yesterday that the new Lodge Officers were being installed. We had a very good month even though Old Mother Nature did not corroperate with all the plans we had on our schedule, despite the weather on Jan. 22nd we did raise one new Brother to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason, Mr. Lee Ilse ll, this Degree was conferred by Worshipful Brother Jerry Mellor PM, and the 2nd section was performed by Worshipful Brother Dick Tharp PM. Brother Lee, Congratulations and welcome to Home Lodge and the finest fraternity you could ever join.

On Jan. 27th Home Lodge was host to the Polk Jasper Study Group, after a very fine meal of Ham&Beans and cornbread, we assembled in the Lodge, where we had an excellent 2nd Degree school run by Worshipful Brothers Jerry Mellor, and John Barry
 Kane with the assistance of several attending DL’s, and MI’s. This school was very well attended by the Brethren of Home Lodge, as well as visiting Brethren from some of our neighboring Lodges. Thanks to all for taking the time to attend and more especially A Big Thank You to the members of the Polk Jasper Study Group. You are always Welcome at Home.

 On Jan. 29th we had a 1st Degree for Mr. Greg Ilse, the brother of Mr. Lee Ilse ll, This Degree was conferred by Worshipful Brother John Shepherd PM of Home Lodge. Congratulations Greg in choosing Masonry as your fraternity of choice. Both degrees were very well attended by the members of Home Lodge as well as visiting Brethren from other Lodges, who stepped up and wanted to play a part in both degrees , Thank you all very much, as your being there had a great impact on these gentlemen.

As you noticed, I have attached “Two” Home Lodge Chicken/Beef Noodle Dinner tickets to this issue of the Trestle Board; This Dinner is a Fund Raiser for Two Scholarships, One $500 Scholarship for an East High Senior, and One $500 Scholarship for a Southeast Polk Senior. Please help support this event by purchasing these tickets and supporting the Community of Pleasant Hill, and Home Lodge#370. Thank You Brethren for your advance Support.

March 12th- Home Lodge Stated Meeting- Meal at 6:30pm-Meeting at 7:30pm—Corned Beef and Cabbage is on the Menu
March 19th- 3rd Degree for Brother Greg Ilse- Meal at 6:00pm—Degree at 7:00pm
March 21st-HAPAC Gratto- Spaggatti Dinner—4:00pm-7:00pm
March 30th- Re-Obligation Night—More Information to Come
