I would like to begin this Trestle Board by introducing myself to all the Brethren of Home Lodge, especially to those Brothers who have not been able to attend Lodge in awhile. My name is Melvin T. Moore Jr.; I was elected as Worshipful Master in Nov. 2008 and was installed to this High office in January of 2009. I have very Big shoes to fill, and will do my very best for the Brothers of this Lodge, and for the Good of Masonry in general.

As you all know by now, we had our Installation of Officers on January 3, 2009.
 I would like to again Thank all of my Installing Officers for the excellent job they did in the performance of their respective duties.

I would like to Thank and Congratulate all of my officers; I feel that I have the Best of the Best in all of my officers, the elected as well as the appointed. I know they will do a fine job for the Lodge, and offer their support when needed.
I’m looking forward to the year ahead by serving as Master of Home Lodge, what a great privilege and honor it is going to be. I would not be in this High office were it not for the craft, and their continued support.

By the time this reaches your mail boxes, we will have had our first 1st Degree of the New Year, in our new Brother Greg Ilse. Congratulations Greg, and welcome to the finest fraternity a man could ever join. You will be a great asset to Home Lodge.
On the 22nd of this month we will be raising Lee Ilse II, Greg’s brother; to the sublime degree of a Master Mason, how great is that, two brothers who are Masons and will become members of Home Lodge.

The month started out as a very busy time, with the installation of officers on the 3rd, the Stated Meeting on the 8th, and all of the other Lodges Installations and Appendant Bodies Installations. I would like to report that about 85% of these were attended by your Lodge officers.

This months Trestle Board is short and as you will notice is printed on last years pre-printed shells. In next months issue and all months after it will be printed on this years shell with all the new information and photo of the new Lodge Officers.

Jan. 22nd - 3rd Degree for Brother Lee Ilse II -Eat at 6:00-Degree at 7:00
Jan. 29th – 1st or a 2nd Degree- Meet at 6:00- Degree at 7:00
Feb.5th – 2nd or 3rd Degree- Meet at 6:00- Degree at 7:00
Feb. 12th -Stated Meeting—Dinner at 6:30- Meeting at 7:30—Stew- yum yum!!!
Feb. 14th-  Home Lodge/ P. H. Community Blood Drive 7am-11am Need Donors
Feb. 19th – Possible Degree – Please check Lobby Calendar
