FEBRUARY ARCADIA NEWSLETTER 2010
Greetings from the East
Due to the bad weather on the 7th we will be having our boards and committees meeting on January 21st at 6:30. Please plan to attend this important meeting if you are on a committee. We will also be setting up this year’s calendar.
I hope that every ones year has started off well. If it hasn’t there is still plenty of time to change things around. We have several degrees coming up including Ben Ruther’s third on Thursday January 21st and Paul Mosher’s first on January 28th. We will be finishing Paul Copper’s degree work on February 11th and we will be doing Paul Mosher’s second degree on February 18th and finishing Paul’s degree work on February 25th.
Please remember the blood drive on February 5th between 2:30 and 6:30 call or email Chad Melohn at 515-708-1369 or C_Melohn@yahoo.com for an appointment. Please remember to bring a non-perishable food item to every meeting this year to help out those in need. Remember the Sweetheart dinner on February 13th. Brother Fredrick Killian will be setting it up and the Order of Amaranth has agreed to fix a nice meal. There will be more information out soon with more details.
I would like everyone to come out and support Justin Dodge on February 27th for his Grand Lodge reception. There will be more information to follow.
I am also looking for one or two people to take on the Quillows project for this year. Quillows are a quilt that folds up into itself to make a pillow and we will give them to Hope Lodge in Iowa City for the patients to take home when they leave.
