Ames Mayor Ann Campbell issuing DeMolay Week Proclamation
Cyclone Chapter DeMolay won the football tournament at the Summerfest (Summerfest is the annual state meeting of the Iowa Association of DeMolay Chapters) DeMolay is an organization for young men between 12 and 21 years of Age. Cyclone Chapter is sponsored by Arcadia Lodge #249, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons.
Ryan Knight (left) was invested with the rank of Chevalier at the recent meeting of the Iowa Association of DeMolay Chapters held in Des Moines. Ryan is a graduate of Ames High School and will be attending Kirkwood College in Cedar Rapids. He will serve as State Senior Councilor during the coming year. Also pictured are "Bill" Yungclas who received the Honorary Legion of Honor and Darryl Knight who received the Legion of Honor at the meeting.
